Evangelist Kamya Dunn

Kamya E. Dunn is the founder, CEO, and Executive Artistic Director of Milestone Theatre Presents. She has written, directed, and produced a total of six plays to date.

Kamya attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio from fourth grade through the twelfth grade majoring in Drama and Vocal/Instrumental Music with a minor in Creative Writing. Kamya has performed in stage productions such as Cinderella, Oliver, The Toby Show, Little Mary Sunshine, Bye Bye Birdie, Upon a Midnights Summer Dream and various other productions. She has also participated in vocal and instrumental recitals and competitions and has won numerous awards, trophies, and positive reviews. During her senior year she was awarded a full music scholarship to attend The Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. While attending Central State she was a member of the Grammy Nominated Central State University Chorus, Tour Choir, and the Female Ensemble.

Upon graduation, she accepted her call into the ministry and was licensed through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. to preach and teach the word of God. During a very difficult time in her life, an overwhelming desire to revert back to her love of theatre came alive in her like never before. She knew immediately that the vision of MILESTONE THEATRE PRESENTS was the answer that she had been looking for from God all along.

She began preaching the word of God through writing illustrated sermons, which eventually evolved into full productions. The results were evident and life changing for the many people who witnessed the power of truth being revealed through each character in the play. As her desire to write and direct continued she wrote a few more scripts and then God gave her “The Church On Green Street.” This illustration became note worthy of seeing over and over again. Not long after its inception, she began traveling with the “Church On Green Street”…and hence the birthing of MILESTONE THEATRE PRESENTS.

Kamya resides in Springfield, Ohio with her daughter Ryhen Dunn. Where they are members of the Greater Grace Temple Church under the pastorate of Elder Ronald M. and Monica Logan where she serves as an associate minister and altar worker. She is currently completing her second Masters in Counseling at Wright State University, Fairborn, Ohio.
